To start this blog off I want to apologise for my absence! I am currently trying to juggle my third year of uni, work, building my instagram, having a naughty dog and lots of other things that seem to lead me to neglect my blog! I started this blog as I’ve always admired and loved bloggers such as Sophie Milner, and I’ve always loved reading magazine articles and that’s why I mainly started writing my own little blog. However, through no fault of my own I have managed to let it be my last priority and I hope this changes. So again, sorry for the lack of blog posts but hey, I’m back!
It’s definitely fitting for my return to be a fashion post as that’s definitely my life! These autumn/winter months are my favourite time of year for sure when it comes to styling. I love layering and the different textures and new trends that come around each year. So I thought I’d do a little round up of outfits from September through to these early weeks of October as the weather has drastically changed!
This top is going to be a top contender for me in my wardrobe all year round I think. I really love the polo/collared shirts that have been on trend this year and I’m certainly loving this one. Paired with my trusty ASOS straight legs and sandals! Bit more of a transitional outfit here: sandals and knitwear. Another collared top/jumper to add to the collection! Love the ring zip detailing and especially love the colour of the knit. Another ASOS Jean find here! As well as my trusty Dune sandals which I’ve lived in up until the past two weeks. An outfit I really loved coming up now! I bought these mules in January and had no occasion to wear them…then lockdown came around and they were buried into the back of my wardrobe! Finally got chance to wear them and wow, I don’t think I’ll ever wear any other shoe when going out at night! This may have been the last of the sandals! I tried my best to brave them until the end of September but the weather had other plans and well let’s just say, frostbite isn’t a good luck. This New Look jumper was a bargain and one of the nicest jumpers I own right now! Here for the knitted vests! Great layering piece for UK undetermined weather. Then winter came round pretty quickly. Shackets. Oh shackets. I think most of us have a love affair with shackets this season and I totally get why! They’re a great wardrobe staple and I’ve already got 2 and planning on purchasing my third, woops!
So that’s it for today’s blog post. I hope you enjoyed my little run through of recently worn outfits. Thanks for reading, Nat x
